    I fixed it! I ordered a couple new 30 amp circuit breakers and replaced the old ones and the locks are working again. These are the two metal breakers in the fuse box on the side of the driver's side dash. Easy fix this time...

    Well prior to the battery change, they were working. That same day, I changed the battery and then, no worky. I'm sure everything could use a good scrubbing though.

    Could be, I'm sure they're the originals. I'll see if any of the wires are broken in the door pass through but otherwise, I'll just start replacing parts starting with the breakers - they're old anyway.

    Thanks for the ideas! I think the best thing to do is build my own cables. Eventually I'll replace all the original cables and put in a new or rebuilt oem starter. The truck cranks and starts but I can tell it's struggling a bit. Good tip regarding the BMW wiring, I knew that one when I was...

    I recently picked up a '95 C1500 ext cab with 106k miles and I'm going through it and replacing everything that's worn out. Miles are low but 25+ years takes its toll. The battery cable from the positive terminal to the fuse box has seen better days. It's frayed and I'm having cranking issues...

    Thanks, there's an LKQ a few miles from me, I should probably hit them up and see if they'll let me grab what I need. Do you see any reason for me to buy the harness I pictured from EBAY? I don't think the mating connector is on the truck, I should just go grab everything from the junkyard.
