Front Spring Rates

Are the front spring rates known for any of the available lowering springs? I can't seem to find that information anywhere. Or is the amount of drop the biggest concern for most? I'm looking for a 2" drop spring and probably something in the 600 lb/in range. I think. I'm only basing that off of...

1990 454 Y-pipe Upgrades?

I've looked around a little bit and haven't come up with much. Is there an existing y-pipe available besides the direct stock replacement? I'm looking to get away from the tiny pipes, tight bends and the terrible merge point. Will a later year (vortec 7400) version fit up to the early TBI...

Suburban Barn Door Removal

I feel like an idiot asking this question because I was a bodyman for around 14 years. I have replaced barn doors in the past, but it's been so long, I don't remember if there was a trick to it. The hinges have a couple visible bolts on the body side, but iirc, they are welded to the body back...
