    That black truck with purple polka dots, I really like it. I saw it at the Columbus Goodguys show this year, and also at Quaker Steak the evening before. Then about a week later, I found a picture of it in a '90 (I think it was, can't remember now) issue of Hot Rod.

    I busted one about like that too. Luckily for me, it wasn't too awful long after I had a trustworthy shop rebuild the trans. They tore it all down and fixed it for free. Same deal, they said that the 5-pinion was not really any better than the 4-pinion.

    And I'm sorry, but if someone is not willing to learn how to put a timing pointer at 0° and learn the difference between intake/exhaust valves, that person probably shouldn't be adjusting valves or really doing anything beyond a basic oil change or maybe a water pump.
