    [SOLVED] What did GM use to push the factory glass open on the rear liftgate?

    The latch release works, if my wife holds the switch I can open the back glass. It looks like whatever you use is just backed against the plastic covering the tailgate, and that glass is heavy. I could switch it to a toggle switch but I'd prefer to leave it as is if possible.

    Our last snow was April 20 so a few days ago I figured it was safe to swap over from the godawful stock 20's and snow tires to forged 18's with Pilot Super Sports. Saved 18# per corner, massive response upgrade and having a little sidewall makes a world of difference.

    What's the trick to get the rear wiper flush?

    Truck is a 92 blazer. The rear wiper isn't flush against the glass, there's a good sized gap so it doesn't do anything when it actuates. The wiper arm comes off easy if you grab it so it seems like its not latched on, but I can't see how its supposed to work either.
