    Found this thread and figure before posting my own, I'd just add to it since it's recent enough. My new drop spindles had a bit of shipping dmg on the threads, so got this cheap kit off ebay to fix it.

    Not looked at it yet but very common problem around here(more so on the drives side) even the white, red long box n black short bed trucks have it. I know its not the frame fyi. Deff gonna fix it on BUCK n LUCK, patch weld w/e to get em straight again.

    Doesn't effect the auto trans, because of having an auto trans, the idle is lower(in gear vs clutch in), so the alt charge is also lower and that can cause issues in general.
