    Time for a new radiator?

Thought I would update the thread for everyone. This project kind of spiraled on me. Bottom line: I tried the radiator from ECP, it sucked, and then was a huge hassle fighting to get even an 80% refund. I had to involve Paypal after they went dark on me. So, now I am running a Duralast...

Installing GMT900 rear Cab mounts in a GMT400

The more I read on this forum, the more parts I end up buying. I am going to give this a try on my truck.

    Time for a new radiator?

Latest update. I ordered a new radiator to put in. I looked closely at the AC Delco replacement but people seem to be hit or miss on them. Considering I didn't like the plastic side tanks on the original radiator, I decided to try one of these ECP (Engineered Cooling Products) radiators. I liked...

    Making My Own Door Handles

In the same boat. Watching this with interest. I hate the stock handles too.

    Time for a new radiator?

Thought I would update the thread. You guys were spot on. I did try tightening things here and there, but I finally caught the little sucker in the act. It is a tiny hole around the flange like had been suggested. Thanks again for everyone's suggestions and tips. This is a great community.

    Time for a new radiator?

Thank you so much for the advice, everyone. I really appreciate it. Usually I am out in my shop working alone and it is a real benefit to be able to double check assumptions.

    Time for a new radiator?

Hello everyone, Still getting to know this truck. Had an intermittent leak that would show up randomly but usually after driving around for a good period of time. It would drip out by the front bumper, driver's side. I think I found the leak. But I wasn't sure if this is a fitting that can be...

1st post - Before and after leaf spring swap pics

Last tip: This was one thing I found that worked well wiping the poly bushing schmoo off my tools. Just an FYI to save the next guy a lot of scrubbing.

By the way, the front sway bar bushings are easy to replace. They are not part of the rear kit but I already had them and they are kind of a "while you have all the tools out, you might as well..." type of thing.

Hi Jay, I got the rear sway bar installed and took some photos for you. For reference, I had it up on the lift for photos. The sway bear ends that are pointing upwards in the first photos sits level with the ground when the truck is on the tires. The instructions say that the ends should be...

I am pretty new to the full size truck world. After reading your posts, I think you guys are spot on. I looked again and I see it too. The one spring is definitely different than the others. I went and looked again at the truck I pulled them from and sure enough, there was a Rough Country (I...

I wasn't familiar with the Roadmaster product. Looks pretty cool. Let me know how you like it if you do get one. It seems well suited for heavy loads and big campers. I don't tow much though. Occasional boat/camper/trailer. I am going to try one of these rear sway bars next and see how it does.

1st post - Before and after leaf spring swap pics

The way I did it was to leave on the rear shackles that came with the ones from the junkyard. The higher position of the shackle bolt/mount had a lot more room to work with. I soaked all the bolts the night before with penetrating oil and hit it with the pressure washer in the morning just to...

Tape measure pics if curious. It will likely settle a little but the change was significant.

Hello everyone, I read a lot on here but haven't posted yet. Recently did a small upgrade and thought some might appreciate the before and after regarding lift of the back end. Details: 1998 Silverado 1500. Came with the stock 3-1 springs on the back. They were worn out completely. Upgrade: I...
