    Please help! Idle issues now.

Yeah that look pretty much alike aside from the connector...Go ahead and change the fuel fillter before you try a new a CTS and see if that changes anything, but if not change the CTS...Are you losing coolant?...Oh yeah I forgot about the pick-up coil, check that out as well.

    Please help! Idle issues now.

Just check the vacuum line going from the TB to the MAP sensor to see if it's hooked up, but from what you're describing the CTS could be the culprit.

    Please help! Idle issues now.

Does it only act up when it gets warmed up?...and I believe if the PCV valve rattles that means it's still good...Have you checked out your MAP sensor, you could have knock off the vacuum line from the back of the TB to the MAP off by accident

Yes sir by setting your old truck (your 97) back to stock, and then you should be able to program your 98. Try this first then if this doesn't work call hypertech. I had the hypertech max energy and had this same problem and this resolve it^^. It's weird that you pay all that money and you can...

Have you tried calling hypertech?...or is there anyway you can hook to your 97 and unprogram (deprogram) it from it?...Because I ran into this problem before and I had to unlock it from my old truck before I could use again.
