    Restored '92-94 180KMH / 110 MPH cluster

Yes, I should have mentioned as I was nearly complete with sanding I did some wet sanding at the end to get finer results. The wax fills in little imperfections and adds a small amount of UV protection as well, although the lenses usually do not yellow in my experience. Start with the...

    Restored '92-94 180KMH / 110 MPH cluster

Sure. I removed the lens from the housing and sanded the light blemish areas from 3000-7000 grit. Then I used plastic polish on a rotary polisher to brighten it up and finished with synthetic wax for protection. The instrument panel face plate pulls out of the rear housing. I fully...

Reversion Raceworks 1999 C2500 Suburban "REVurban" Build Thread

Pulled like 5# of copper out that's good scrap money. Luckily it all cleaned out with minimal damage to the factory harness

Yep that's me. We 3d print new covers. Used on FB Groups they are around 40$ but they're still 30 years old. Ours is around 70 but new plastic and reinforced tangs

Reversion Raceworks 1999 C2500 Suburban "REVurban" Build Thread

We've done a bunch of work to this rig already and I'm excited to add updates to the progress along with @reversion_raceworks! There's some YouTube stuff we've been posting with a little more behind the scenes action for your viewing pleasure. It was a challenge to get the team members to buy...

    Restored '92-94 180KMH / 110 MPH cluster

Unpainted. They do fade to pale yellow but started a medium orange from what I can tell... I prefer the original bulbs instead of LEDs to allow for dimming and I just prefer the warmer look

    88-94 5.7 Suburban A/C Diagnosis and Tuning

Follow up, mid 90s today and on the drive home was 38* front vents, rear vents about a degree or two colder. Lesson learned - there is no replacement for (compressor) displacement, regardless if sanden claims their enhanced compressor is up to the task.

    Restored '92-94 180KMH / 110 MPH cluster

Wanted to share some images of my restored 180 kmh / 6k redline cluster for 92-94. They seem pretty rare. I cleaned and lubricated everything inside and changed out bulbs and it looks awesome! Function tested on my 93 and it was plug and play. Unfortunately, I live in the US so it will be a...

    Quad Beam Headlight Refresh

Respect the insight! I grew up with those old cars and never was too bothered when they were maintained and aimed right. But now the roads are a battlefield of what manufacturer can make the biggest leds, and it can wash out my halogens sometimes.

Is a Quick Ratio Box Right For Me?

Just put the fast ratio Redhead (they call it quick worm) in my 93 burb tonight. Replaced a old Redhead with 60k on it that was leaking and had play which i wasn't pleased with. Also added an oem cooler and lines and magnefine filter plus fluid flush. Steering effort is about the same, but the...

Aftermarket double din radio is the stock 1988-93 digital stereo location?

I have had this Pi running daily for almost 2 years now and it has been surprisingly reliable. The only thing I cannot figure out is the voice control for android auto. If I were to do it again, I would save my money and time and get a marine unit to be installed in a blank panel...but at least...

    Quad Beam Headlight Refresh

Also, I'd recommend removing the buckets entirely by removing the springs. This gives easy access to lube the adjusters with a light weight gun oil and then apply heavy white lithium grease for the 3 pads that the buckets rotate in to ensure you'll get consistent adjustments

    Quad Beam Headlight Refresh

Nice! On the buckets, the 4 metal tabs that support the back of the glass lenses are held in with little plastic clips that are easily removed by punching out the pin. I remove those then cleaning off the rust on the buckets. Holley sells replacement buckets, but they aren't the same design and...

    92-94 454SS Cluster - Mexico/Canada option?

It is pretty good, but definitely still a 30 year old piece of plastic. Miles are whatever was set after I reassembled the cluster, I took it down to individual parts for cleaning and inspection. More than I think I wanted to pay, but not into the thousands.

    92-94 454SS Cluster - Mexico/Canada option?

Got it in today, took it apart for cleaning and lubrication of the ODO/Trip gears. Tested it and works great! A few IP bulbs are burnt out, looking locally for replacement.

    92-94 454SS Cluster - Mexico/Canada option?

I was able to contact the seller and work out a deal for the 180kmh cluster. I am excited to see it in person. I may keep it or perhaps try and trade for an imperial SS cluster.

Not really. We were toying with production but the units needed alot of custom work and would have been $$$ to produce.
