    failed smog

    92 K1500 5.7 TBI failed calif smog test due to high NOX measured 716 at 15mph and 572 at 25mph. All other specs well inside the fail window. Any ideas as where to start? EGR leaking?

    blinking A/C temp selector

    MT2500 snap-on scanner

    I have a MT2500 and have a question about the coolant temp read-out. I am wondering what is the scanner reading, engine temp for the temp gauge in the dash or the CTS sensor for the computer? shouldn't the reading change when the sensor is disconnected? Can it be changed to read F* vs C* ?
