    I had a 12 bolt in my 90. Was a easy swap and the limited slip actually worked. If you got the money the strange differentials are 10x more reliable than any factory units, I have a S60 and its lighter and faster than the 9" i had.

    Never got mine to turn using alternator nut, usually slipped. If all plugs are out maybe it would work. Of course I usually just bump starter till compression pops on #1 then line up my marks so I know its on correct stroke. Could be a issue if cam timing that far off tho

    I put 88 lights in my 94 and they was nice and bright. My 96 I use auxbeam leds for bulbs and have the glass lights you get off ebay

    Line up the timing mark on front cover and look under cap and see if it's pointing at #1 or at least on opposite side of 1. If it's anywhere but that the chain jumped

    Adding clutches is good for towing but in a race trans the less clutches needed to hold the hp the faster you are. As far as lasting I know of a truck that went 425k and another that is at 380k and neither took care of them they just lucky

    The reason most vortec heads crack is the way the seats are hardened and how thin it is around them. Take apart a few engines that haven't been hot but lots of miles and tell me how many are cracked. Better yet go back a few yr models and find a decent pair of 882s 0r 993 heads.

    Well gm engineers made heads that are prone to crack, the 3-4 in a 4l60e was designed with bad fluid flow and cooling issues that a couple drilled holes fix and it took racers to figure that out not overpaid dummies.     Vortec, non vortec, really no different on internal cooling ports. All SBC are the same block cooling ports aside from one extra port on water pump that doesn't do anything that I have seen. I have plugged those off since I was 16 in every one. The 400s have steam holes that I plug in the block...

    My two speed is hardest to cool and if it get 200 I wont stage up. I run hydraulic oil in it and had same in a 4l60 I pulled with. Works way better but has to be used from time its built.

    Procharger would even love a 2.08 1.6 225cc brodix dragon slayer. More air the better. Now a na engine a 200 runner 2.02 1.6 is enough but not boosted. Factory heads would be short lived cause of the added heat. Cheap aluminum heads are crap aluminum almost like the 2.2 s10 head type aluminum

    Not reading this whole thread.... you need to get a set of dragon slayer brodix heads, 2.05/1.6 get the normal type intake pattern not vortec, use a low rise efi intake with individual injectors and a big throttle body. 0411 pcm will run it but a Holley terminator x will be a easier to tune...

    Wheels stick out to far for PA.

    I had 33x12.5 15s before the 35s on stock 85ish 8" rallies and ball joint sit in the wheel and didn't rub. The caliper would be closer than the ball joint cause i had to grind 1/8" off at a angle so it wouldn't spin the wheel weights

    I did this on my 90 sport truck sometime around 97 or 98 had pigtails for glass ones and just stuck wires in original connectors. The sell the one that plugs in now
