    I installed the aftermarket 3rd brake light today and the brake light itself works just not the cargo light. I think at this point I’m just going to live with it unless I have the interior apart for some other reason down the line.

    Update:after a week of driving I’ve concluded that changing the brake switch has not fixed the problem. It does the same thing in cruise control as well.

    You know what I do believe the previous owner put some sort of aftermarket speaker in up there because a speaker clips onto my sun visor and the wire is coming from under the plastic panel over my head.

    Update: I just replaced my brake switch and it was definitely a pain lol. Will update back when I drive it and conclude whether or not that was the issue.

    Confirmed brake lights do in fact work. This only started happening when I started driving it again after putting it up for the winter. Perhaps it sitting there for a few months could have caused it?

    Hey everyone. I have a 1995 c1500 and the issue I am having is when I’m cruising at light throttle the transmission constantly downshifts and up shifts. I replaced the tps sensor a few years ago but could it possible be that or is the transmission acting up? Thank you for any help.

    Oil leak

    Sorry for getting back years later. The problem was that the rtv gasket I made on the back of the intake blew up right by the oil sending unit. Being so close to the oiler sending unit caused the confusion.

    I saw where all somebody did for the fuel lines was swap out the lines past the filter and of course changed the pump which didn’t seem too hard

    My father in law has a Yukon with a 5.3 with 300k miles on we have an Escalade with a lq9 6.0 in then and both of them have more than enough power can only imagine if they were in my rcsb LOL.
