    Done all the above to the engine. Everything's new on it except the internals. Exhaust, all top works. Tbi rebuilt, etc. 3.73 rear semi floating. To be honest I think I've done all I can with the exception of a larger trany cooler. I think a 6ltr ls engine swap is coming in the spring lol.

    Your exactly right , I'm always checking side to side clearance and making sure I have gracious car lengths ahead of me. I've always been good at assessing everything around me , with a trailer its 10x also it is stressful lol. Like riding my motorcycle I have to predict everyone else's actions.

    Brakes are huge concern if mine. Not that the trucks are inadequate but just to make sure my controller is working, I have been tuning the controller every tow just to make sure they are working on the trailer and responsive.

    The truck is a C2500 350 5.7 with 4l80e and has never had an issue pulling anything as its rated for 9000 with the towing package as well. It has pulled a 33' park model almost the same weight up huge hills with no issues so the pulling problem is recent so to speak.

    I've read some shocks have to be compressed 3-4 before instalation to eliminate any air trapped from factory and prime the shock properly.     On one day. They are acdelco . I unloaded them last night and slowly reloaded about 3 times and it seems to have helped allot. Going to give it a couple more goes as I didn't preload them before I installed them.
