    Hand held scanner that reads live data?

    I use a similar one (except it was 1/3 the price) and it's good for reading and clearing codes, and watching some live data. It does nothing else, no tuning or anything. BUT it takes up no space in the console, and it works on every OBD2 vehicle I've tried it on.

    A problem in cold weather areas is that LEDs don't heat up the way halogens do, so you can get snow and ice buildup on the lenses. I've never had a big problem with this, but I've had to pull over a couple of times to scrape the ice off.
