    '56 Chevy 210

Hoping that maybe, just maybe, someone here could help me out. Looking for the original vinyls for my Dad's '56 Chevy 210 4 door. I need enough to do 4 door panels & the seats. I can find kits & original materials for 2 door cars all day long, but absolutely nothing for a 'more-door'. There are...

    Impala rear disc Q.

I've searched the relative posts on the forum and haven't found an answer. Maybe I just missed the post. Lotsa info on rear disc swaps, but nothing specific on e-brake cables for the swaps that have that. Anyone have any info on the e-brake cable from the pedal to the rear side-to-side cable...

Tailights, yes. Brake lights, turn signals, no! WTF?

Fuses are good. Both in the dash & under the hood. Dash indicators work, as do the front bumper lights, corners & signals. Somewhat electrically deficient, here. Cop was more interested in having me do a breathalyzer. 0.00! Said, "Go home. Fix it!" Anyone have an idea where to start looking?

    Went 'off-roading' yesterday.

You guys that have been here for a while already know this. My truck stops where the pavement ends!!! I like my trucks clean. Inside. Outside. Underneath. This clean freakiness borders on OCD! There could be a week's worth of dishes in the sink. I may be wearing my cleanest dirty clothes...

    Power steering question

So I replaced the high pressure line on my truck today. Still leaks! Soon as I start the engine, the PS fluid leaks out again. Where I attached to hose to the back of the pump, that connection on the pump swivels. Is this right? Supposed to do that? Or is it broken? This is where it seems to be...

    1948 Willys CJ2A M38 Jeep - $14000

Pretty cool build! This would be so fun! This is a 1948 Willys M38. Identical to the CJ2A except the battery is accessed thru the cowl rather than under the hood, the 2 little dimples under the passenger door where the shovel and axe were mounted, and the "full floater" rear differential...

    Non-GMT400 part help required!

Posted this in my 'Why I don't have a build thread' thread, but I'm hoping that a dedicated thread will get more of a response. Maybe some of you wrecker rats, old tin photographers, parts hoarders, someone with a hulk rusting away in the lower 40, anyone that knows or has a connection to a...

    How to recover a headliner

The problem is usually not with the headliner panel board, but with the material itself. It's a common prob. The material is a combination of a very light fabric bonded to 1/8" poly foam. It's the foam that dies due to the roof being subject to temp. extremes. Turns into a powder which then no...
