    A/C Compressor Oil

Well figured I'd update this to help people. The instructions that came with the compressor said to pour half the oil for the system into the compressor and the rest into the accumulator. So that is what I did. I also purchased a A/C flush that comes in an aerosol can and sprayed it into my...

    A/C Compressor Oil

I don't know if the shops around here open Monday. Tuesday I have to drive it all the way to Idaho. Can't delay the trip because I have to be there for court to get custody of my daughter. I wanted the A/C working so she doesn't cook on the way back.

    A/C Compressor Oil

So about 2 years ago I had to remove my compressor and put a bypass pulley on. I now want to put a new compressor on so I can get my A/C working. I know that I will need a new compressor, accumulator, and hose assembly. Also gonna replace the orfice filter. I know I need to get A/c manifold set...

Toyo Open Country MT or Nitto Trail Graps ?

Neither. I've had nothing but bad luck with several different Toyo tires. I say BF Goodrich or Goodyear. Maybe Cooper. I had a Toyo Open Country blow out on me going over the mountain pass in Oregon. Tire pressure was good because I just checked it not even 3 miles before it happened while I...

How do I positively and easily Identify my engine size and vehicle trim?

As far as going by numbers I'd say check the block or the 8th digit of the vin on your dash. The fan shroud could've been swapped by the previous as well as the glove box. The engine casting number and your VIN are the only 2 I'd trust. You can also double check the VIN on you stickers to make...

    My 94 Blazer

Ok. More progress. I replaced all the hoses, the thermostat (180*), temp gauge sender, and the fitting in the intake manifold. Thank god for PB Blaster and the miracle of that stupid fitting not breaking. LOL I did notice 2 things. One my temp gauge is bad. The new sending unit didn't fix it. It...

    Fan Clutch and gear ratio???

They were trying to determine if you have a heavy duty cooling system or not. They asked me that question when I was shopping for a radiator and hoses.

    My 94 Blazer

Got the rear mat installed today. I'll post pics tomorrow. I left the spare tire mount out because I plan on getting a rear tire carrier or roof rack to mount the spare to and didn't want to have the bolt holes cut in the new mat. I'm just gonna lay the tire in there for now. I did put the bolts...

    3 gauge pillar hell!!!!

I'd go with Glowshift. Thats what I'm gonna use. I've never heard anything but good things about them and my little brother has 2 of their pillars for Eclipses and they fit great. Plus I saw alot of the Cavalier guys use them with no complaints when I was in that seen.

    Temp Gauge has me Hot!!

X2. It also comes in handy for finding out which cylinder is misfiring. You could also get one of those radiator caps that has a temp gauge built into it.

    What size speakers??

I'd get some boxes and throw some 6x9s behind the seat. It'll sound alot better than throwing another pair of 4x6s back there.

    My 94 Blazer

I actually like the aluminum wheels that are already on it. when I do replace the shocks I was going with something adjustable. Not sure on the brand yet though. As for the engine I'm planning on vortec heads with the GMPP intake manifold and a cam. Havn't decided on the cam yet. Of course I'll...
