    If I wanted to pull the distributor and I marked perfectly where it is and where the rotor is, can I install it back into that position and everything work? Just wondering how likely it is that it will work right.

    Would pulling the distributor cap and twisting and pulling the rotor a bit tell me anything?

    The last time it made these sounds was many months ago. I can’t recall if I climbed under to listen or not. How difficult is it to unbolt the torque converter and slide it back? Is that an ok method to eliminate the trans?

    If i accelerate really fast the engine will start to miss out real bad and the whole truck bucks around. After about 20 to 30 seconds it will go back to normal. It’s never had as much power as I’d expect it to have… I think my old 95 TBI was stronger.

    1997 C1500 4.3 Just wondering if anyone knows what this sound is and/or what part is likely making it? It sound like it’s coming from the back of the engine… distributor area. Edit: engine runs rough at higher rpm’s and will give a p0304 code Turn your volume down low!

    I checked the fuel pressure today. I turned on the key and it went to 62 psi as the pump ran and dropped immediately to 54 psi when the pump stopped. It held at 54 psi for 5 minutes.     I’ve ordered new upper and lower control arms with bushings and ball joints installed, all steering components, all 4 shocks, and new front brake pads. Are there any torque specs to follow for assembling the front suspension and steering or do I just tighten enough so nothing falls apart?
