    I installed my 1994 k2500 nv4500 transmission and transfercase in my 1997 k3500. The speedo doesn’t work. Should I get one for a 1997 or should it make no difference and maybe the 1994 speed sensor is bad?

    the brake switch connector looks different Fromm the harness that goes in. Looks like the switch is a pain to get out. So I want to just swap the wiring over. Can you tell me what color wire corresponds with the old wiring?

    A quick question about the front diff skid plate

    i want to grab the skidplate off of a z71 at the yard, but it is sitting on the ground and so the bolts are not very accessible. Are they the same size and pattern as on the transfercase skid plate? And is there a nut holding the bolt on the topside? Or is it a insert in the frame?

    I have to change the clutch I think. I hear a squeaking noise when the truck clutch is pressed. which could be there throw out bearing or the pilot bearing. Shifts are sometimes hard. I hope I won't have to rebuild the SM465 quite yet.
