    no problem, I used the computer from a 96 vortec and the whole wiring harness for a vortec

    correct you will also have to use the push rods and rockers from the vortec, the reluctor ring from the vortec, and the harmonic balancer from the vortec but it does work I have done all this.

    the vortec heads and intake will all bolt on fine but you will need to use a vortec timing chain cover because of the crankshaft position sensor.

    I have a 93 5.7 and a junk 96 obd2 5.7. I am wondering if I can switch the 93 motor to obd2 using the parts off of the the 96 motor.
