weird electrical problem; reverse lights

going with a carb'd small block

Just wondering if anyone has done this yet, and if I'm missing anything. I've got a '98 with 4.3 and 5 speed, RWD. I'm really leaning towards just tearing out all the electronics and going old school, building a classic small block with a carb and maybe HEI distributor. I'm pretty sure it would...

HP Tuners

How many of you guys are using this software? I'm contemplating buying it, but it's not cheap... Is it worth it? Or maybe there's something better and/or cheaper out there. Also, do any of you know if you can use it to disable fault codes? Thanks.

Hello from Vancouver

Hi everyone, I just picked up a 1998 Chevy W/T 1500, regular cab short box, 4.3L, 5 speed, 2WD. You know, basic work truck. I was originally looking for a first gen S10, but found this instead. It's not mint, but I'm going to have some fun with it.
