I remembered I did a multifunction switch a few months back and I depined the plugs to make them easier to fish through column. I saw on a wiring diagram that the white wire also gives juice to the brake light switch. I checked and the white wire was not fullly seated in the plug and was...

    multifunction lever

After tearing into the streering column i discovered the issue. When i got the truck it had some janky ebay after market steering wheel. I guess when who ever put the wheel on damaged the lock plate cover and it was interfering with the blinker movement. I heated the cover up where it was...

    multifunction lever

I went ahead and ordered the whole acdelco assembly. Iv watched a few videos. Im pretty mechanically inclined. The job seems pretty straightforward. Seems even easier if the new plug is depined instead of trying to disassemble the entire colum and wrestling the plugs through.

Im piecing together all the pieces to do a 88-93 grille swap to my 94. I saw a video of a 93 silverado grille removal and it looked like the 93 had some kind of piece that clips in the top of the grille like a filler or something. What is that? Is the circled piece in the picture the part in...

    Oil leak

a "nice" bead of RTV was used. I think the stuff was called "the right stuff". I've used it before and had good luck. Ima have to get a mirror and see if i can tell if the engine is wet back there. Maybe from a different angle than looking and feeling from up top.

Wow that's hot. If my clutch was getting weak I think I'd just replace it. I'm just not sold on the run of the mill E fans. I did hear though the MKVIII fans are really good.
