    What that guy said. Motors are a dime a dozen but without knowing what your getting into there could be several other issues. I'm seeing a money pit. I've got a k1500 for sale. It will get you home. I'm in Ontario PM if you want a better project.

    10-1 It's a c.v shaft issue. Take the shaft out pull the boots off and look for broken ****.

    After taking the serpentine belt off and running it( to rule out accessories) take the valve covers off and check valve lash, could be your rockers are worn out Explain the sound better and when it happens... I though driveline too but you may have said, the issue also appears in neutral/park yes?
