    Yes sir to this^^^^. Fuel pump is pumping, pick up is picking up, fuel can't leave the tank due to 32 year old 3" section of rubber hose being all crusted out. Exactly what happened on my 93 stepside. Off came the bed to R&R the fuel pump. Problem solved.

    This is the mack daddy magilla full float 10.5" ring gear 14 bolt in this one ton, correct? Doesn't an uncunted grenade80 differential throw S springs and counterweights everywhere? If you're going full teardown mode, might as well convert to disc brakes. That is a beautiful rig.

    L29 rebuild - give me ideas

    Do what GM did. Stroke that ho. The cubes, a lil more compression, a lil more cam, and fresh/upgraded heads will have you pulling houseboats. Look at L29 thread above and look at 8.1 Vortec builds. That engine gave you 325K miles. She has earned every penny you spend on a refresh.

    1993 V6 should be "Z" vin non-balance shaft non Vortec 160HP TBI. I have a tired 250K miler in my 1993 ECSSB with a 5 speed. I am watching this thread closely.
