    Helper Bags Replacement

Just wanted to follow up on this. Below is Air Lifts reply to my email... "Hello Jason The 59106BT is the current correct application to your vehicle and the replacement bag for this is part # 50203. " Summit has them for $79 bucks each. Not bad I guess but it doesnt matter since I needed...

    Helper Bags Replacement

Sorry for the extremely late reply here. I FINALLY got around to pulling the bag out today. As everyone suggested, there was a sticker on the top of the bag. Of course it was stuck to the upper perch and I had to peel it off. Luckily it came off mostly in tact and I was able to get the Brand...

    Helper Bags Replacement

That is what I was looking for. just a replacement bag(s). Everywhere I looked they wanted to sell the entire kit with brackets and lines. I dont need all that crap since it all works. 80 bucks a bag aint bad either. I wasnt trying to drop 3-400 bucks on a whole kit. Thanks for the PN. I...

    Helper Bags Replacement

hey everyone. Fairly simple question. Bought the truck lowered 4/6 and it came with helper bags. They have always slightly leaked since I got it but now they hardly pump up. After inspection, there are all sorts of cracks and some pinholes. Needless to say, they need to be replaced. With...

    Ls swapped, ac questions

what year is the motor? from your pin numbers you mentioned, im assuming its the older 99-02 pcm. you say you have those pins hooked up but didnt explain to what..... but those pins are INPUTS to the pcm in which it then tells the fans to turn on or off. not sure how you have the fan system...

    Stumped by this engine

I believe you are correct about it not being offered until 01 but GM has always seemed to mix and match stuff during changeover years. So if it was a late production 2000, I could see that it's POSSIBLE they stuffed that motor in there.... If the OP could verify the motor matches the picture...

    Stumped by this engine

I know the OBS bodies were produced until 2002 on some models. I have read through the wikipedia on the gmt400's many times and i just did a quick search through it again for you. Here is a quote for the 3500 HD's... Engines 2001–2002[edit] While all other C/K pickup models were dropped by...

Need a left side battery tray

If you can weld or have a buddy that can, just cut the support leg off, move it to the other side and weld it back on. Thats what I ended up doing on mine and it fits perfectly. no cost. maybe an hour of time.

    stuff that catches my eye

JackE said: ↑ I don't know what in tarnation people are smoking/vaping/shootin up with that makes them think vehicles are worth these prices. KBB lists this at $4100 on the very high end. I guess I need to sell my '99 for $10K without doing any more work on it...

To change or not to change fluid

i agree that its probably time for a rebuild. mine was toast and i knew it because it would "stick" in first gear waaay longer than it should and then SLAM into second. i had a shift kit and it was always a hard 1-2 shift but this was BAD. Bad enough that under decent throttle, the rear would...

    Trans Temp Switch for Fan

i agree. i may just install the gauge and drive to see where my temps are at and go from there. I hate just tearing into a project and skipping stuff just to come back later and do something i could have done prior. Either way, it would be cool if someone who had any experience with a temp...

Engine replacement-list of components/sensors to replace

After doing a swap myself, I would say do the simple cheap stuff and anything thats hard to reach once its in. If its cheap (like spark plugs/wires etc) or sensors in the back, might as well do it now. You also stated exhaust mani bolts. I would HIGHLY reccomend that since your going to have...

    Window Deflectors/Vent Visors

i mean that makes sense but why do you not see it on other vehicles? was this a cheap solution to a more costly design or just lack of knowledge in those days? whatever, this is not the thread to have that discussion in so im over it. but i will say i like the last comment in the link you...

    Trans Temp Switch for Fan

    - the original cooler was a tube and fin style. This was done before I got the boat. This was also before I knew the differences between how they were made. haha - yes it is mounted in front of the radiator and AC - I never had a gauge hooked up to it so I honestly cant say what the temps...

    Window Deflectors/Vent Visors

Not to thread jack here, but can someone please tell me what the black plastic/urethane thing is at the upper part of the A-pillar? I can not figure it out and dont understand what its purpose is! i dont see it on any other car/truck that I can recall and to me is just a useless eyesore. But...

    Trans Temp Switch for Fan

Hey guys. Been a while since I posted anything here. Needing to do a lot of work to the truck very soon and one is to resolve a heating issue I have. Quick back story.... I have a 95 rcsb with a 6-0 LQ9 swap with mild cam and a 4L80 upgrade (from stock 60e). I also have a Circle D 2800...

    K1500 lowered 4/6 drop with 275 wide tires ?

i have 20x8.5 all around with a 4/6 drop. i used to have 235/35 on all four. i cannot go taller or wider in the front without rubbing issues while turning. they barely clear as is and do rub if i hit a dip at a moderate speed while turning. the back on the other hand has plenty of clearance...
