1997 4dr Chevy Tahoe Fender Wheel Flares?

Pretty much discontinued. They quit making these in 2000, so there are now 24+years old. It’s all the new stuff now. I got lucky n found a new set on marketplace that were never installed.

    Shaking rear end

How old are the shocks? If there completely whooped its like not having any shocks. But that would go with the road conditions. What shape is the carrier bearing in?

    Lifts

Usually lifts are “adjustable” by turning up the bars. Can more lift without going crazy cranking em.

    Am I underpowered?

Small tires!!! Im not saying a 350 is a slug, just that its in a heavy a$$ truck. My old Yukon had 35s on it with 3.73s, and wasn't a rocket off the line. Once it was going it was ok, but there are alot of hills where I am, and need torque to pull em....

GMT 800 front brake upgrade to GMT400 8 lug

Hardest part depends what knuckles you get. If you get the 99-2000 lite duty knuckles, then only need to ream the upper ball joint. The rest is bolt on. If you use the later ones, then need to ream more, so, more work...Too bad so far away, I was gonna to this to my 99, but going SAS instead. I...

    Am I underpowered?

i had a CCSB 350/4L80 with 3.73s, and was a dog. I'd doubt you spin the tires with stock size tires, 350s run good, but still lack low end torque to brake the tires loose. Also had a 1 ton with 3.42s. But that had a 454 and would lite the tire up. With 35s!!! Going around a corner tho.....but...

    89 gmc 6 or 8” lift

37s gonna rub with a 6”, even cranked to the moon. Not only taller but they are wider which just adds to clearance issues.

    89 gmc 6 or 8” lift

How big a tire do you wanna run? I think the biggest lift for IFS trucks now is only 6”. Need a body lift (barf) or cut outs, or an SAS. I ran 38.5” boggers on an old Tahoe I had, tired 6” with 3” b/l. It was close but never got a chance to wheel it so not sure how it did offroad.

    SAS Trailblazer

The problem ur gonna have is getting the parts in Hawaii!!!!! Is there even anywhere to go wheeling out there?!? T-case depends on transmission. If you have a common 4l60, then an NP241 would be the simplest. And if ur running driver drop front axle, then an adaptor is gonna be expensive to run...

    Front diff swap

I was surprised when i saw an 88/89 K3500 with the 14sf. I thought it was a mis-badged truck or something. i had 2 K3500's, 88 and 89, but both were big block, but those trucks up till 90 maybe 91 had the goofy Dana 703HD, but the dooly's got the 14ff...

Axle widths for a 1993 Defender swap. Need narrowest axle

Waggy axles are about 60” wide. Early bronco are 58”. Late 70s Granada with a 9” is roughly 58” IIRC. Passports and rodeos use a Dana 44 that is 60” and has discs. Many with a traclok….
