Copy that, thanks for the insight. My OEM lens is in good shape it's just that the plastic piece on the inside of the lens that allows the screws the firmly connect into the housing have worn away. Sounds like my two options are to either 1. use a washer to give the screw something to cinch down...

I'm in a similiar situation. Looking for just the cargo lamp LENS replacement, OEM / GM part # 16521970. LMC Truck does not carry just the lens (have to buy a completely new housing, bulbs, etc which is almost $200 bucks. I can't find any other parts supplier who has this piece, all say it is...

By a 1.5" crank is that referring to adjusting the factory torsion keys / bar as mentioned earlier in the thread? This is something standard the tire shop can do when they do the alignment after installing new tires?

Thanks all for the feedback. Went to my local lift shop this weekend and the guy told me the two best options are: 1. 2.5" front torsion keys + 1" lift via ubolts and blocks in the rear - total = $550 2. Maxtrack 5" suspension lift - total = $1200 installed Any thoughts on this cat's opinion?

I just bought a 1999 Z71 K1500 from an older gentleman. One owner truck with all stock parts save for Flowmaster exhaust. I want to put a lift on it to achieve 3 things: 1. better stance, 2. ability to fit a larger tire (but keeping the stock rims), 3. more ground clearance. With that in mind...
