No start TBI - fuel pressure drops to zero after priming

Hey fellas - Got a no start condition on my '94 TBI 350. -Truck ran great 3 days ago. Drove 60 miles. No issue. -When I turn the key to run, the pump primes, and I get about 12 PSI of fuel pressure. Should be plenty. -After it's done priming it drops to about 8 psi, then bleeds to zero within...

    Replacing the upper A arms.

Lower 4wd arms are pretty hard to find pre-assembled. Most folks do ball joints if needed or bushings if needed unlike the uppers which you just get a new arm.

Long pedal and brake light on dash

I did the GMT800 MC swap as well as 1-ton front calipers, new pads, new drums, new shoes, new parking brake cables, and all new lines last year. Brakes have been good and issue free, until a couple weeks ago when I suddenly had a long pedal (they do still work, just not as well) and the brake...

Full fuel line replacement! What would you do?

Nylon lines. GasTankRenu makes a complete kit (supply and return lines from pump to bellhousing with filter, EVAP canister line all the way to up) specific to your truck built to order. I ordered online for my 94 Blazer full sized, bout $100. Couldn't even get them OUT in one piece.

    Paris gets a 6.0

L76 is an LS2 bottom end and LS3 top end essentially. Guys run high mile engines up to 600 hp on stock internals all the time. I know G8 guys north of 700hp on TVS2300s without having the bottom end apart.

    Paris gets a 6.0

    Why on earth an LS6 oil pump....use a CTS-V HV pump. They're cheap. Source: own a G8.

    Manual trans bouncing in gear

So update to this - i did solve the issue. It was the IAC valve, and i just took it out and gave it a good cleaning with some carb cleaner. I know I said it wasn't engine related, but I was wrong. It wasn't a problem at idle! I guess it was just sticking and interfering when it shouldn't have...

    88-98 Bucket seat alternatives

What are my options for leather WITH the rear seat entry release? 94 Blazer (2 door), I'd love Esky or ~98 Suburban/Tahoe seats but no rear entry.

5.3 donor motor preferred year range

That's great to hear. I'm considering swapping my Blazer at some point but was thinking of going 4.8 because I was afraid the 5.3 would eat it.

    Manual trans bouncing in gear

-U-bolts & lower plates: Great, will check -Spring eye bushings, shackle bolts - will check -Universals - my first guess. Never done this, how do I check them? -Engine/trans mounts - are those a common thing on these? Owned GMs my whole life and my dad had a few GMT400s over the years and never...

    Manual trans bouncing in gear

I can shift them fine without bucking, it's just when I'm driving normally in town holding speed. Giving very little throttle and getting off throttle is the problem. It's totally fine when moderately accelerating or when banging gears.

    Manual trans bouncing in gear

Not an issue i've encountered before and so i'm not sure where to look. Only thing I can think of is U-joints. Essentially while driving in higher gears (I think 3rd gear and up, maybe second gear too), when I let off the throttle and it starts engine braking, the truck jerks and bucks badly...

Replaced entire fuel system from the filter back. Now no start.

Truck runs! Turns out it was the flexible lines going into the framerails above the tank, one of them got got twisted and kinked just right, couldn't see it unless you looked just perfect.

Replaced entire fuel system from the filter back. Now no start.

Don't think it really could be. It was clamped on... Which wires should I swap on the pump connector to make the pump change directions? I have 3 connections and a chassis ground. Which ones are the positive and negative for the pump? Guessing two of them are for the gas gauge, one is for the...

Replaced entire fuel system from the filter back. Now no start.

Well, pressure gauge arrived. No fuel pressure. But there's fuel in the lines, and I can hear it running. So that means eitehr there's a line blockage somewhere, I've got a bad pump, or the pump is running backwards, right? But if it was running backwards with only 1/8 tank I wouldn't likely...

Replaced entire fuel system from the filter back. Now no start.

Yep, ordered a pressure gauge. Be here next week. Haven't shined a flashlight down the throat yet. I'll get the woman to crank while i watch tonight maybe. Fairly obvious they're not firing though. If i'm a betting man I'd say I have some fuel pressure but not enough to fire the injectors.

Confirmed it runs on starter fluid for a couple seconds and dies.

Replaced entire fuel system from the filter back. Now no start.

Which side of the throttle body is the pressure side and which is the return? I think i already pulled the pressure side off.

Replaced entire fuel system from the filter back. Now no start.

Opened the lines at both sides of the filter and at the high side of the throttle body and got fuel spray in all 3 places.

Yeah i know about those. Have to get one though. I want the truck on the road! All new lines along the frame. Different sizes. So correct, I don't see how they could have been mixed up. That'll probably be the next step. Really can't be anything blocking in the tank, as the tank is brand new.
