Sound familliar to a number of others I've read, is part of why I'm leery of some of these cheaper units... I've been using ACDelco ignition components at least though! Just not sure I want to go ACDelco for the distributor given, you know, plastic. This one has been in the running for me...- Xipher

Don't have any issues with my truck at the moment that I know of, but I'm wanting to replace the distributor before a very long trip that'll involve, you know, just totally normal stuff like towing a travel trailer for 7,000 miles over 2 weeks and since I know the factory style 'plastic'...- Xipher

ABS High Pressure Accumulator Bleeder Cap
I absolutely cannot find a part number, name for, or where to get a replacement for the rubber cap that goes on the high pressure accumulator bleeder valve... Does anyone know or can find the part number? Know where I can get one? I absolutely cannot find it after doing a brake bleed.- Xipher

1998 K2500 Passlock/VATS Question
Gonna have to say I agree. Its weird because I went into this hearing everyone say that if you disable Passlock/VATS, the security light will stay on solid, and if you want to fix the security light, you'll have to fix the VATS system. Given the wiring diagram and how the VATS box seems to...- Xipher

Ok, so I went out and cut the yellow Passlock wire so I could trigger the security light and then work backwards from there to know that what I was doing was working. Cutting the yellow wire didn't trigger the security light to stay on. What?? https://streamable.com/qk7et- Xipher

Alright, I got HPTuners tonight, I read the PCM, I went to the VATS drop down box and went from "enabled" to "disabled", bought credits, wrote it back (FULL write, not just calibration!) My truck is having annoying Passlock/VATS issues. The security light turns on 2-5 minutes into every other drive and I'd say one out of every 10 starts it decides to give me the flashing security light of doom with a 2 second start and run before it dies.
