    im actually in the same boat myself. i wana tune my PCM for my new motor. dont run bad as is i just know i can get more. im pretty clueless with the TBI programming myself. its nothing like tuning an old holley.... IIRC a ALDL cable was around $50 to $60 on ebay

    If it were me i would get a set. good chances if the one is cracked and known prone to cracking, the other side was manufactured at the same time. in that case who knows if and when it will. Dont chance it. check ebay last time i looked a set of reman vortec heads were around $500.

    normally when i see coolant in the oil it looks like vanilla milkshake color after its been run for a few minutes. at this point you really need to do a leakdown test on your cooling system. it sounds to me like you have a blown intake or head gasket.
