Local bone yard. I bought 3 truck's worth haha. Wouldn't let me cut up the completely shot box for my other needs though. -

Anyone have a junk bed?
Looking to see if anyone on here has a junk bed laying around that they'd be willing to cut me out a couple patch panels from and ship them my way. Bought a rust-free but not damage-free box locally but I need a couple pieces to cure some sins from the previous owner. Let me know if you can help. -

Dorman Body Mounts & You
Saw the same thing, but when I ordered my mounts, those rear mounts were on eternal backorder then as they are now. The Dorman mount is readily available, and you can get them at several places that don't feature the LMC Tax. Figured this would be a good solution if there's folks out there...- wiscomick

Dorman Body Mounts & You
Latest issue on the truck rebuild was replacement of all the body mounts. Dorman makes a really nice complete mount that they market for the radiator support on our trucks with no mention of it fitting the rest of the cab locations, even though the design looked to be the same. I've got a lot of NAPA Chassis parts on my build, which are made by Mevotech. I've also got Mevotech branded stuff from Rock Auto. I have no issues. They make a decent product. I wouldn't say OEM quality, but I'd say 90%.- wiscomick

Sounds like a great alternative to the LS swap. I have the 4L80E already waiting, lol. My truck also has no AC, no power anything except steering. Whatever I decide should be somewhat straightforward all things considered.- wiscomick

Agreed, but.... IMO anyway, FI or cubes are the only option for anything worth your time and money on these things as well, so that makes addressing the injector situation one of the first things to think about when trying to go faster. It's a consideration that I've been overthinking for...- wiscomick

Sure would like to get my hands on one of these marine intakes. Really seems like the poppet valve injector is the limiting factor in modifying the Vortec 350. Could be a nice alternative to an LS swap, IMO.- wiscomick

installing factory Fender flares on a wt truck?
Omit the metal retainers and replace with 2 sided tape. Don't drill your bodywork.- wiscomick
