Cold start backfire

Hi, I have a tahoe 96 with the vortec 5.7, when cold start (temperatur around 40f) it has started to what I believe is backfire in the intake manifold, it cranks for around 5 sec with a couple backfires and then starts and runs perfect. I have an engine heater installed, if I use that to heat...

4L60E rebuild help

Hi all, I have a tahoe 96 5.7 with the 4L60E, last year I had a 2rd to 3rd 2-300rpm shift flare, I put in a corvette servo and it helped with the flare, but now when in 4th and light throttle it revs up and holds or looses speed until about 3-3500rpm then downshift to 3rd and moves fine again...

Keyless reciever, metal boxes - tahoe 96

Hi, I am trying to identify the original keyless reciever module, I know the truck came with it because it has the "AU0" on the sticker in the glovebox. I looked and found these 2 metal boxes, I think the box to the right of the steering colum is the stock amplifier for the rear speakers, and...
