    You're right - I gave them another shot and it worked! I spent so long trying to use a flathead screwdriver I forgot how to use my fingers LOL. Thanks for the pointer! Side note: I use these waterproof COB chip lights, they're no larger than filament ones, which avoids fitment issues.

    How did you replace the map light bulbs in the Suburban fixture? I've been unable to get the light out in the same way as the front ones (push in and twist), and it doesn't even look like the lens is the same as the front ones.

    This is the definition of simple: is there a way to flash the high beams in a 94 C1500? (I think) I've fully explored the dash and signal stalk but have only been able to switch between low and high beam, but not flash the highs if the lights are off.

    Makes sense. The thing that's still bothering me, though, is that the truck was starting/running/driving absolutely perfectly until I cleaned the engine bay - these issues started almost immediately after. I'm still baffled as to whether it's a coincidence or I screwed something up.
