    Looking for Advice

I'd agree with professional repair. Doesn't look as bad as most rust belt frames,

Bought a used dash...not sure I'm gonna use it.

I have successfully reinforced brittle plastic pieces with JB weld. I've made patterns from cardboard (30 pack beer boxes, not corrugated) cut some thin metal with tin snips, drill some retention holes into the metal, then epoxy into place on the backside.

How many different types of material are in the interior?

In regards to rubber floor vs carpet. . No worries with coffee spills or muddy boots. Cleans up effortlessly and still looks great 30+ years later. Carpeted and cloth door panels are " luxurious " and look nice but depending on what the truck is used for, a little less practical.

    90-94 Blue Cloth Manual Panels.

wow - nice score. I like the plastic panels for "durability" even though the cloth panels are look nicer.

Hi folks. I don't have sufficient privileges to post in classifieds yet but was looking to see what a 1990 Standard cab Grey bench seat is worth. It was removed from a 65k mile Sierra. Excellent shape. No burns or tears. Arm rest has dimple from being folded up but upholstery is not ripped. Seat...

    Chrome! What y’all recommend

I am not even a fan of these chrome, stick on bed protectors. They are attached w 3M tape. I'd love to remove them but don't want to damage the paint. (Not to hijack but any ideas are welcome)

    Sun visor

If you can score a set of vinyl Sun Visors from a work truck in the treasure yard, they are more durable than the cloth ones. Way easier to clean too. Just an option.

    Power Ports

I didn't want to cut my dash so I altered the ashtray insert... powers on with ignition on. 3.5mm jack is to play music from my phone to OEM radio to retain the "Stock" look. Works well.

    Frame Swap

When I removed my stepside bed, I made a wooden dolly w casters so I could move it around easily. Using a hoist I removed the bed by myself, strapped it to the dolly and rolled it out of the garage. Removing the cab could be done in similar fashion. How much did you pay for a rust free rolling...

    Lets's talk Corrosion, a.k.a. Rust!

I live in NJ where its best to have a "winter beater" because of all the salt used... my nice truck (90 Sierra Z71) is from Ca and you can still read the numbers and date on the frame even after 31 years. My east coast Scottsdale... not so much, LoL
