Last time I had stalling issues it was the plunger on my Iac came of and it if moved right in the hole the truck would cut off, but I am sure this is a very uncommon cause of stalling lol.
I agree with the orifice tube, make sure it was replaced. If they didn't vacuum the system properly, trapped air will make it slow to cool, or not want to cool at all.
So I haven't posted on this in a while, Mostly because oct and nov was ciaos with what was going on with my mom and her passing and then dec was christmas and all my extra money went to buying my kids chrsitmas. Well, I got the surprise of all surprises for Chistmas. I got and envolope from my...
Actually reading the specs on different tires 285/75/16s seem to range from 32.8-33.2 for overall diameter. On the other note, i have driven 99 up trucks and compared to my truck with all the new fronted end parts and shocks on my truck the handling feels the same, just my truck is a littler...
Welcome, I am sure it is doable, but it would involve a lot. They make a spider injector kit that actually replaces the the cfi with multiport injectors, this is it right here,
It solves the common problems the cfi units have...
I am thinking about this for my truck, I had and under drive pulley setup on my grand prix and honestly it was probably the most bang for the buck mod i did to that car besides maybe a semi custom computer chip.
My truck isn't now where near as nice as some of the trucks on this site, but it is still a lot nicer then most of the other early to mid 90's 4wds around here. I will take mine down a trail every once in a while but nothing crazy. It is nice to know i have the 4wd when i need to go down a trail...
I have heard of trucks having bad idle and stalling issues from play in the throttle shaft in the tb, but I have 250k on my tb and mine is still nice and tight so I doubt that is your problem but always a possibility.
When my truck was doing that recently it was the IAC the plunger spun itself out and it would stall randomly at lights or if i had my foot of the gas going thru a turn it would sometimes.
I got their 3 inch cat back on my 94, i don't have a vid clip of it right now, but it has a nice tone to it, and it has been on my truck since 2008 and is holding up good.
mine use to be like that, i replaced the inner and out tie rod ends, and pit man arm and that shrunk it down to about 1.5 inches of play, still need to do the idler arm, but i think most of my play is in my gear box, after all it does have 252k miles on it, but I'll live with that until it leaks...
Yeah worn tie rod ends will do that for sure, and being that the spindles probably changed the angle that the tie rod ends were sitting at and it didn't start doing it till you put the spindles on i would defiantly look at them. the other possibility is the spindle nuts were not tightened enough...
I have 33inch terra graplers on my truck right now, they ride real good considering they are 75% worn out, If you are keeping it on the pavement those would be fine, but i wouldn't think about putting them in the mud unless I had a winch on the front lol.
I had an Accel cap and rotor on my truck for 60k miles, just changed it last week, any cap and rotor that uses brass contacts are good, the bwd select seems to be a little heavy and better construction then the accel. I've worked in parts stores for yrs and for the most part the house wires no...
well it turned out the plunger on the end of my IAC had about screwed all the way out of my IAC, Put a new IAC in problem solved, new threw a code I geuss since the electric part of the IAC was good still.
