    Frustrated - Need Help

1993 K1500, 5.7, 4L60e. Burned up trans last year and embarked on “mini resto” from cab forward. Had trans rebuilt, now put back together. During test drive everything worked great except no power to 4x4 shifter (and won’t engage) AND trans will not shift out of 1st. Here’s what I’ve done: 1)...

JBA or any Long Tube headers

I have a set of the JBA shorty headers on my 1993 K1500. Super high quality IMO with nice thick steel on both flanges. Exit point was a little bit off to connect to stock “Y” pipe so I bought the JBA “Y” pipe from either Summit or Jews (can’t remember which?). Very nice “Y” pipe that flows...

    Lower Control Arms Help

The original post was about the K series, not the C series. Two different animals people, please pay attention as you read these replies. I know this is a “no crap” statement, but don’t order anything suggested without paying attention to whether it is for a C1500/2500 or a K1500/2500.

Interesting. That was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for pointing me in the direction. Still undecided if it is something I really want to do.

Has anyone done this conversion? If so, willing to share process? Has anyone produced a kit to do this conversion?

Another pre 88-94 to 95-98 interior swap

I swapped newer door panels in my 1993 because I got tired of the bad design on the attachment point on the armrests. Instead of monkeying around with wiring, I just used a dremel and did some creative bodywork to retrofit my 1993 switches (both window and locks) into the newer door panels...

    The Stupid Interior Questions Thread

I am trying to permanently fix the broken door panel problem on my 1993 standard cab. Are all the GMT400 door panels interchangeable if the switches from the door panel to be used remain on the panel?
