Suburban auxiliary tank in a CCLB.

Has anyone tried using a suburban tank as an auxiliary/secondary tank on a long bed truck? I’ve seatched the forum and see many people saying it’s possible but haven’t seen a write up of it being done. I like the of having 70 gallons on me when my 454 is getting 8mpg while towing.

Frame rust removal and painting to do's and what not to do.

What are you using to sandblast with? I've been doing mine with just a hammer to bust rust off and scuff pads by hand removing the rest

Mercruiser 454 exhaust manifolds

Not sure about the exit manifolds. I have a 89 sea ray with a 454 merc in it. It is carbed and I was gonna try to do a vortec injection setup on it with one of my spare intakes. The intake did not match my gen VI truck. I have a TBI 3500 too but didn't try anything from the gen V block. What...

Frame rust removal and painting to do's and what not to do.

I joined this forum because I'm doing the same thing you are. One of my rear hangers rusted through and I took the bed off to get at it, then it became may as well do both side. Then may as well do all the leaf bushings. then I'll paint the frame. Now I'm at the point its quite literally 2...
