Engine Idles Unevenly and Almost Stalls When Cold

I'm off next week for the kid's spring break. Hopefully I'll be able to have some tinkering time of my own and not just honey-do projects.

Engine Idles Unevenly and Almost Stalls When Cold

Do you recall if the fuse block referred to if the dash mounted or underhood block? I'm planning to get around to dropping the 3-wire into my suburban soon and like the idea of mimicking the factory circuit better than adding a relay and signal wire.

MAF - Parts Cannon Story - Paying it Forward

Did you replace the connector that was lose at the MAF? Possible intermittent connection while it's plugged in causing issues. I'd expect to be able to see that in the datastream if your scantool is capable of it. Expect to have a MAF code with it unplugged of course.

Decided to build a garage. Now the fun begins.

Perhaps. Settled for locking it if I wasn't working out of it, minimized tool loss to scavengers and thieves (plastic injection molding plant). Magnets are a more convenient option for home use.

Decided to build a garage. Now the fun begins.

The hf box I have does the same. Drawers act like they have a detent but will drift open as you roll it, especially if you turn it with any kind of speed. No fun when one tips over. Had a previous coworker dump his box like that, resulted in an unexpected purchase for him.

Word of advice, if it hasn't occurred to you on this, lock it before rolling.... of course, if the drawers have latches this doesn't apply quite as much.

    Dumb door hinge idea

Look up their name in a thesaurus, you'll find trash heap, garbage, and depending on the editor's experience, mediocre.

1993 Yukon crate motor hydraulic roller lifter cleaning and adjustment journey - (Solved)

On this, the dash guage operates off a separate sender than the ecm. This is a TBI correct, i forget. IIRC, the dash guage reads the sender in drivers head, ecm reads CTS at front of intake. I'd expect a difference in the two readings given their placements and wouldn't stress over it...

    PARKING BRAKE pedal won't release (not the cable) - trick to disengage? (1994 - 2500 - 2wd)

Have you looked into the service manual for disassembly steps to R&R the pedal assembly. It will likely make removing ducting easier or at least point you towards the right direction for minimizing broken plastic. The FSM should be available in the sticky threads under Engine Perf. and Maint.

    Transmission Ground Strap?

And what is your field of choice for career or hobby? I feel like I'd need to do some background reading to understand any/all of this.

1993 Yukon crate motor hydraulic roller lifter cleaning and adjustment journey - (Solved)

To see the plugs Schurkey is describing, you'd need to have timing cover off, and maybe even cam chain sprocket. Perhaps you could snake your scope/inspection mirror in from the lifter valley and be able to see.

7 pin trailer outlet under truck wiring?

I'm convinced they are proof of concept at the moment. OP, do yourself a favor and replace them (and any other suspect wiring) with some weathertight connectors before you are chasing gremlins.

    Termite's 95 K2500 Suburban

Wired in the new 7-way trailer plug. Had to improvise a roof from a tarp since it decided to start drizzling rain on me. Picked up a new ratcheting crimper set for the task and put it to work. Tomorrow morning, I'll hang the rear bumper and mount the bracket for the light plug. Then, off to...
