What 5x4.75 axle shaft for 2wd?

Summit lists 2wd c1500 axles at several lengths between 31-32" per side. If I find a simial length 7.5" 10 bolt axle from a gm car or s10 that is within say 0.250" or .333" of that ength, with the same splines-can I run it? Does it need to be longer, or shorter? Ill probably slug and redrill...

325/50r15 on 2wd step side?

i have a dropped c1500 wih springs removed and a shackle hanger relocation...not sure of the official drop"...nor do I care. I need to know of I can fit 325/50r15s with the stock 2wd axle width... and if so: what wheel measurements do i need? (bs..offest...ect) I appreciate any input. Sent...

325/50r15+15x10" tire= 4.5 or 5.5BS?

Title says it all: My slicks are 325/50r15s. The wheels I want come in 4.5" or 5.5" backspacing in 15x10 flavors. Drag truck. Viking c/o's up front. Cant decide what to do with the rear...considering relocating leaf springs and swapping to a shorter axle. Sent from my SM-J700P using Tapatalk
