    Motor Pull

New motor is already in as well as the tranny, haven’t run it just bolted it up then my buddy said the torque converter shouldn’t have been on the motor so tonight will separate the two and put it on the trans first Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Motor Pull

Nope bolted to the flexplate then put in trans so taking it apart tonight, haven’t run it or turned anything so hopefully still okay, I didn’t hear any pops or cracks of anything binding so maybe got lucky. Lesson learned Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Motor Pull

Found out I mated the trans and torque converter wrong and all that and could be bound up according to a guy I know so now have to try and pull them apart under the truck and make sure it’s okay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Motor Pull

The hard fuel lines have a bracket on the back of the block that had to be undone and as soon as I did that, it lifted free. Daylight helps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Motor Pull

Noticed my new spider injectors look a little different on my intake as opposed to that intake so moved it over. Also putting new gaskets and all that. Tomorrow put them together then back in and hope for the best Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Motor Pull

I appreciate it, I’ll keep you posted on what I find, it definitely isn’t as fun as working on my old 73 C10, a lot more wiring and sensors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Motor Pull

Stopped at about 12:30 last night, have to figure out what’s hanging it up, I found some metal fuel lines to the intake I had to disconnect but may have to pull them from the fuel filter and pull it with the block and tranny I guess. So close Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Motor Pull

Honest question, how hard would it be to pull the tranny with it? What all would need to be disconnected then? Connectors and driveshaft? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Motor Pull

Thanks guys for all the replies, I got the two low bolts from the bellhousing and then trying to figure out how to get to the top two, which I think you all answered. Behind the distributor I see a small maybe 11 mm or something but that seems kind of small for a bolt that holds the two...

    Motor Pull

Motor seized up on the way home the other day. Got a used motor saw running out of a suburban, same year Vortec motor. Radiator is out, compressor is disconnected, throttle cables will be disconnected. Headers are loosened and will be pulled tonight. As well as the distributor for clearance. So...

    Post your lifted 2wd's!

If I’m also doing a carb swap I’m not sure how the ECM and all that would fit it, my spider injectors are fouling up and I’ve got an intake just need a carb. But I agree

Well I mean SAS is the goal, originally was cutting up my ‘14 Tacoma but said why not on this thing after my truck was totaled. Just very unfamiliar with it all as far as what axle for front, Tcase, tranny, all that. Still trying to find a good walkthrough thread. But for the time being probably...

Monstrous lol looks good, so you’d say 2500 Springs plus a 2 inch block would be 4 inch? Then maybe an AAL? I’ll be pulling a boat, maybe a project, couple horses (different times) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
