    Will a 2008 4L60e Retrofit in place of a 2003?

    I have a 2008 4L60e with ISS and 15 pin connector. Can this Trans. fit into a 2003 Silverado and operate correctly. I would think as long as the Trans is a complete 2008 unit (Matching Pump, Input Drum, Valvebody, etc), it would just swap into the vehicle in place of the earlier 2003 model...

    4L60e Case/ Valvebody Interchange

    I have a '99 4l60e Transmission with a broken case around the Servo snap ring area causing a leak , I swapped everything over to a 2002 4L60e Case. My question is, the Valvebody is stamped 98, now the new case is a 2002, what Valve body gaskets do I use, xx-99 or 2000-up gaskets?

    4L60E Output Shaft Sleeve Needed?

    I just got a 4L60E that I’m starting to rebuild to mate with a Vortec 5.7L, the output shaft has a sleeve on it inside the tail housing, can I just remove the sleeve and use the shaft without it? My truck doesn’t use the sleeve on my current transmission that I rebuilt last month.

    Trans Pump Spring O-Rinf

    I disassembled my 4L60E transmission pump last night and I noticed a spring looking O-ring on the floor, in my diagrams I don’t see anything like that in the transmission pump. Does anyone know where this may go?
