4l60e cooling question
Ok so I took a look and the cooler has already been upgraded. It's 8" x 11". I'm wondering if the tranny was already rebuilt. And hopefully upgraded. I wasn't having any temp issues I know of. I just want to be able to tow my little boat. I thought reducing temps would be a good thing.- burpin94

What has the biggest bang for the buck when it comes to reducing temps? Aftermarket cooler like b&m 70266 or deep pan?- burpin94

I ran the other 12 qts through. Then pulled an empty boat trailer 160 miles yesterday. Lots of stop and go traffic. About half was highway speed. So far so good.- burpin94

The ride in was uneventful. Took the interstate for a few miles. Don't know if the codes are back or not. I forgot my paperclip. I think I'm going to run another 12 qts through. The fluid still has a slight haze.- burpin94

Yes it was in the pan. I just replaced the tcc solenoid and the manual valve position switch. Got a couple codes and od wouldn't lock the tc.- burpin94

I'm dropping the pan again after work today. The tranny seems to be working fine but I don't have tc lockup in od. Codes 59 and 67. Changing tc lockup solenoid, pressure switch assy and filter again just for good measure. I'll be able to inspect pan and magnet as well.- burpin94
