I really appreciate that! I'm going to try and make a really clean truck. Simple but elegant.

Thanks man! She's probably never going to be done. After I bagged it I knew that I then needed to be body dropped. I'm either going to do a full chassis on it and start fresh or sell it and start over on a new one. If only I had the money to do all the things I wanted

No real updates. I've been so busy with the 11 in my spare recently. Lastnight I was sitting in the garage and was about to start making filler plates to go between the floor and tubs when I had an idea. I took several C clamps and tightened the floor to the tub using the lip where the spot...

Go figure, it was Bill, haha.

I saw on here where someone basically recessed the bolt heads in by cutting, rising the bolt holes, then re-welding that piece of metal just around the bolt holes. When you looked at it the bolt heads were just recessed enough not to touch the ground when laid out. I can try to find the pics...

Thanks! A learning/working progress. A lot of errors will occur I'm sure. My biggest worry is going to be setting pinion angle. I've decided to build a frame table type setup out of 2x2 square tubing and build an entire back half possibly. We will see haha

I got the fillers done on the side of the tubs. The floor is what I'm trying to find time to complete, haha. I've been using thin cardboard also. I haven't had much time to work on it recently because the girlfriend seems to like to fill up any of my free time with plans, lol. Can you post up...

I'm far from perfect. I haven't welded in probably 10 years and have never done body work in my life. Honestly, your post and YouTube have been how I have gotten this far, lol. I got some more work done on the bed. I got the floor and tubs tacked in and started making the filler plates and...

    fleetside or stepside?

Bill has an extensive build thread on here that has lots of good info on it. I dont know how to attach threads or I'd just share it with you. 98nightmare and it's "My 98 stepside project". It began life as a stepside that he bagged, then did a traditional body drop on, and is not switching to...

I'm actually still running stock size tires still. I can't remember the size, but I'll check on my lunch break!

I haven't driven outside of town with it, so the street lights help with visibility. I will remove it eventually just because i'm tired of tickets already. $56 a pop. But I will eventually take off all tint probably. 0 sun in your eyes while driving is pretty nice tho and keeps the heat out!

Nothing wrong with that. The 24/26 were on it when it was just a 3/7 drop. They never would have cleared if it were at the 5/7 that it is now. The 22's were a snug fit. They would hit the inner fender on bumps but I would turn. I had to trim the LCA gutters to clear factories at a 5/7 but it...

I also want to point out that I am an average Joe that have never done any of this stuff myself before. I do NOT have a big budget to work with. So saving, buying, saving, buying, saving, and buying some more is how this build is going to go. Those who think I'm some kinda baller, think again lol.

    Project Stock Floor Jankarādo

Absolutely not! I have already gotten 2 tickets for it. Don't do it, haha. My 11 is 5% with a 30% windshield and have only got pulled over in Texas coming back from LST but got off with a warning. The Jankarado has a 20% front windshield and it is way too obvious and you can't see anything at...

I don't actually. The center caps had Chevy bowties on them and no brand. Looking back, I probably should have kept them. I didn't know I was going to bag this truck then and they just weren't going well on a static dropped truck, haha. The U2's I liked, but one was bent and the tires were junk...

I love my 11, but I need the satisfaction of creating one from scratch, haha. I probably drive the Jankarado (the 98) more than the 11. I have a 5.3L sitting in my garage on a stand ready for a cam swap for the 98. When she's torn apart to sfbd I will swap that over. Still have to gather parts...

Hello everyone! I've commented on a few posts, but this is the start of my own project. About a year ago I decided to have my 2011 Crew Cab Chevy bagged. It was projected to take a month (ended up taking almost 5) so I decided to buy an old beater to drive in the meantime. After searching and...
