    I appreciate the replies, fellers. It’s more the removal/installation of the bushings themselves that scares me, i dont think i’d have too much trouble getting out the torsion bars. I see you have to burn out the old bushings, do you have to have a press to install the new ones?

    Honestly it’s not awful underneath. Southern truck so not rusty/crusty/seized. Matter of fact, the oil leak has done a nice job of rustproofing most things

    Issues only when hot

    The starter also cranks over really really slow when it's hot, not sure if that's related. It'll start but it takes it a minute to get spinning fast enough to turn over. It'll do this even if it'S not having the other two issues

    The more research I do, the more it sounds like the transmission is in "limp" mode for a short time. Could there be some sensor that is affected by cold that is triggering limp mode on the trans? I should also say that I have no check engine light or warning lights on.
