Wanted: 88-94 fog light switch and connector

Well this switch was among my S-10 switches by mistake. How does $60 shipped sound for it? I’m including replacement terminals too if you need to re-wire it on your end. I can build a relay kit for somebody if they need me too also. This is the same style of switch oddly enough that is on my...

Big 3 and Dual Battery Kits

The 4-HI kits are still a popular mover-I’m building full time on all 73-up truck harnesses so it can be challenging to maintain a regular build schedule. Im in that same boat regarding full LS swap engine harnesses-everyone wants me to begin offering them but there are countless variables and...

Electric fan swap, on the cheap

The condensor is basically a big heat exchanger. It wants to shed heat to keep AC head pressure down-so there are two ways to do this: go with a larger capacity/tube condensor (not easy to find and pricey when you do) or go with the most powerful electric fan you can find/fit. Make sure as...

Electric fan swap, on the cheap

Or....Jegs, Summit carry spacers with threaded ports too. Here’s one of my installs from a few years back.

Electric fan swap, on the cheap

For those w/o welding skills (and aluminum at that) go to Advance Auto and tell them you want a thermostat housing for a 1980 Monte Carlo. Its made in Mexico, its aluminum and comes with 2 threaded ports-a 3/8 npt and 1/2 npt. Its like $9.

That blackout style grill looks good!

    Bummed with AC overhaul

Blockages arent rare with high mileage on AC compressor, a locked up or grenaded compressor, etc. and that crud travels through the system so a chemical flush should be performed before installing all new components. I’ve been doing AC service work and overhauls for over 25 years now-heck I’ve...

    Bummed with AC overhaul

Rarely is this kind of AC problem electrical related. It sounds to me like you have a severe blockage in the lines somewhere-hence the PO also not able to fix it and put a delete pulley. Gauges indicating a good vacuum can also be a result of it pulling against a block too. I’d suggest (and...

Cruise control and electric mirror wiring

At least for the mirrors-no. However, I build reproduction GM style power mirror harnesses. I’d need to know what style ends the mirror section has as well as your switch. Nearly every GM power mirror harness I’ve dealt with for these years are 8-wire harnesses regardless of the switch.

    Adding Power Mirror Switch

I have an NOS S-10 mirror switch. And I can supply a control harness for it as well-just need to know what kind of connector your tow mirror has.

    4 Hi Headlight Mod

You guys dont get the entire picture here-I run projector style housings with a flat horizon cut-off line which doesnt affect traffic in other lanes. And yep-I’ll be “that guy” who doesnt nail a deer in the road! Just dont look at peoples damn headlights lol-its the same reason I dont stare at...

    4 Hi Headlight Mod

Well I can say on the highway at night I don’t give a **** who doesnt like my bright lighting....I care more about watching for deer jumping across the road that who thinks my lights are too much/bright. I dont blind oncoming traffic, but my beam patterns extend at least 75 feet in front of me...

    4 Hi Headlight Mod

While this may work, it isnt ideal. Wire taps are a no-no...especially outside of a vehicle as it promotes wire corrosion-and speaking of, you should really use a sealed relay for underhood use. But then again, $39 is pretty cheap.

88-98 HI-4 Headlight relay kit NEW

Cool-I figured the micro relays would be a nice fit on a bike. Been fighting a nasty cold lately but keeping busy.

    4 Hi Headlight Mod

Or if you dont feel comfortable getting into it-this is a plug n play kit I use and build. If you build your own, be sure to use sealed relays, underhood rated wire and fuse your supply feed.
