Leaf springs
Before you do anything check the bushings and you could always change out the drop shackle to a 1 or 2 inch instead of whats on there to raise it as well.- black90sport

My MCG notches got delivered yesterday and I was determined to make some progress. I got one test fit, still need to clean up the frame more before I am ready to drill holes, but it fits! I came to some easy conclusions about my plans, AND THANK GOD FOR IT. Upon initial visual checking welds look ok at best. Not the worst I'd seen, but holy ****, I was able to bust off both of the top link mounts with a small 2lb sledge. ZERO penetration on the mounting metal, the axle welds...- black90sport

It is definitely home built. The guy i bought it from said his uncle was building it for a drag truck and lost interest. The welds on it aren't awful, I have definitely seen worse.
