    Post your lifted 2wd's!

Someone has probably posted about this but I figure I'll ask before I read every page. Has anyone found a better/stronger steering set up (tie rods/pitman arm/idler arms/etc)?

700r4 no reverse, shifts late, no overdrive

I'm sure there are multiple threads on this but I only found one. If someone can send me a link or point me in the right direction I would appreciate that. Accelerating onto a highway last night my truck went from first gear to neutral and past the rev limited while still staying in "Over...

    Post your lifted 2wd's!

My first lift was a Supreme Suspension 3 inch lift which had coil spacers in the front and blocks in the back. I couldn't get the camber right and the passenger side completely collapsed and the driver side collapsed a little about 6 months after putting them in so I ordered the Rough Country 4...

    Post your lifted 2wd's!

It's hitting enough that it's leaving a mark around the whole wheel. I'm hoping a quarter inch spacer will do it, gonna get one in the morning

One side the spindle pushed the wheel weights around the wheel (I didn't realize it was hitting til I tried driving it) and it was digging into the wheel. Probably gonna get a quarter inch spacer in the morning

    2wd build ideas

I ran 32s at stock height, you could probably run 33s with the body lift. Not sure if 33s would rub though

    Rear Facing Hazard/Emergency Lights

I never thought of using them for this but that's a great idea I'll have to do a little more research Yeah that's true. I guess the only real answer to my question is to just get off the highway. My truck overheated on the NJ turnpike a few weeks ago and the "shoulder" isn't very large. There...

Spyder headlamps.....my take on 'em...and LIGHTING in general

They'd be perfect if it wasn't for those 2 simple flaws. It seems like the brackets they make aren't very consistent because for some people they're good, some they're bad

I vote the early chevy grill :boti: Lol I'd really like to know why they thought the screws would be better. I can't see it being to much harder to make the ring with the hold down tabs

    Rear Facing Hazard/Emergency Lights

I've been thinking about putting extra rear facing lights for if I'm stuck on the highway changing a tire or broken down so it's more likely that people will see me and hopefully move out of the slow lane to make it safer for me and them. They will be wired through a switch. My main questions...

Spyder headlamps.....my take on 'em...and LIGHTING in general

http://lightbarreport.com/wiring-led-light-bar/ This is a great page about wiring lights. It has a really nice table of what size wire to use for the length of the wire (in feet) and amps needed which I've used for all of the wiring I've done for my truck and haven't had any problems
