    I tried to fix mine with some JB weld. Put a nice think kote on the tank where the split was.. lasted about a day..

    Mine is the 1.6 compressor. I'm also "trying" to run all the whippletronics and hopefully converting the truck to 0411 pcm down the rd.

    Hi guys. I've been working on my 7.4 Whipple swap and getting close to done. My kit came with A 2.5" pulley witch I think is the smallest. My question is what size pulley are you guys running and what kinda boost are thay putting out ?

    I never tried a Denso, I used A Napa brand pump rite now and it does not start as good as it should and I changed everything else in the fuel system.

    Wow thanks guys! I really appreciate it I'll send Z71 Hobbs A Pm right away. I'm trying to find one of those smog pumps for a 7.4 Vortec and I don't think any trucks that were sold up in the North had one.

    Well I'm still having problems with the wrong brackets for this 1.6 whipple just when I thought I was gettin it figured out rite back to square 1. So now I'm after 1998 smog pump and bracket for 98 vortec 454 so if any one has a spare one or one thay can part with, I know most people toss them...

    Its almost easier to pull the dash out then take the cubbie out after it's only held in by 4 nuts.
