    I have a 1998 gmc sierra ext cab k1500 with 5.7L that i want to put a bigger fuel tank in....i have a 2000 chevy silverado ext cab c2500 6.0L with a 128 litre fuel tank as the donor.....has anybody done a swap like this?     I would like to go with stacks....but not sure how i plan too...want to do a body lift...and not go through bed....but come up sides...and make pockets ..like a stepside to run stacks.....just not sure about the flex issues..

    I built my own 2.25 used some elbows and cut and fit mine to go around my latter bars and torsion bars....the fun part was fitting in the truck tacking and pulling out...and then bench welding....alot of up and down that day on floor...mine i did this past december...and it was aluminized steel...

    Map are a cause of alot of problems....check to see if yours is dirty....only clean with map sensor cleaner anything else will wreck the sensor....and then check the wiring to the sensor.....i found on my 98 the pins in the connector were green and one pushed out abit......its worth a look to...

    I would suggest giving all intake bolts about a 1/2 turn...see if the problem stops....but honestly for the price and the time to do it... it not a bad job to do intake gaskets...and if your doing intake your almost there so do the head gaskets....because the longer the leak..the more that can...
