Low fuel pressure in first gear.

Alright throttle rebuild is coming up in the next week or so. Wife opened up the bank enough to order some parts lol. So I was looking at rvmorsemachine.com and marine-performance-parts.com for there TBI parts and am a little curios about their power plate and there TBI injector spacing and...

Low fuel pressure in first gear.

Okay iv'e heard about the about the adjustable fuel pressure regulator. is there a certain brand or someone who sells them that I should check out? I'll probably take it apart this weekend and rebuild it and see if that helps. if nothing else it'll probably help my mpgs a hair.

Wheel bearing maintenance; repack or replace?

Probably a good idea just for the piece of mind. just don't get the cheapest ones you can find, I learned that the hard way.

Low fuel pressure in first gear.

Talked to my buddy, who's a Lexus mechanic, and showed him the wiring diagram. And what he told me the probably a wiring problem like L31MaxExpress said it was. Only problem is that you have to be going 20 mph for it to happen and I'm not too keen in testing voltages as I'm driving. I am...

Low fuel pressure in first gear.

Replaced the fuel filter and got about an extra pound in pressure. It now sits around the 12 psi while driving which should be fine for the entire throttle range correct? It's still bogging down in first gear though so I'm thinking it has to be some sort of sensor or controller shutting off the...

Low fuel pressure in first gear.

I did not, however I did hose it down with brake cleaner and gave it a good blast of air. the tank is also spotless so I doubt it any contaminants in the system. I still don't think it has anything to do directly with the fuel pump its self do to the fact that it runs fine and only does it in...

Low fuel pressure in first gear.

Its a 91 350. Basically bone stock however, I have rebuilt the TBI along with some of the ultimate TBI mods it a few years ago. It is running between 10-12 psi while running, edging towards the lower end of the spectrum while driving. I did replace the fuel filter, but that was probably two...

Low fuel pressure in first gear.

Edit Another note is it only happens from a dead start, as in you floor it from a dead stop. I don't like doing that to the old girl but there are times you have to get out of the way and stalling in the middle of the road doesn't help.

Low fuel pressure in first gear.

Hey everybody! Due to the terrible nature of things going on I have been labeled non-essential and have been laid off. But never the one to sit on my butt, I decided to work on the old girl dealing with one of the most annoying features of the truck. It has a tendency to, when warm, bog down...

    Has anyone have this happen?

Good job getting it all put together . There is nothing more satisfying than fixing your ride and taking it out for a cruise. Happy Fourth of July!

    Has anyone have this happen?

Or just pull the engine and throw something else under there.... ;) I guess that wouldn't help with the fuel pump though lol .

    Pic request 89 roof structure

Would anyone know of a good way of installing some oh crap handles on a regular cab? I got some maroon ones from a Tahoe and I was wondering if a sheet metal screw would be able to hold the weight of me or anyone Really leaning on them. I was considering using one of those nut cert type deals to...

    Has anyone have this happen?

Here's a question for you now, is it throwing a check engine light light now? I believe it's code 32 . Let us know how the whole fuel thing goes too.

    Has anyone have this happen?

Really good write up here . http://www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/showtopic.php?tid/258416 I actually just recently had mine go bad. Kinda similar symptoms. However no matter what, it would run terribly. First start, 1 mile, or 10 it wouldn't change. It's a cheap thing to fix and a pretty easy...

Hydro Boost: what am I missing?

Do you need any special hose line for it? As in isn't it a high pressure hose that you have to have? Otherwise it's seems pretty straight forward .

    Has anyone have this happen?

Well unfortunately I don't have access to an engine hoist. But I was also gonna go ahead and do the old rust prevention and removal. Salt is a bit cruel around here in the winters and I'd figure that I might as well get two birds with one stone :D. Let us know if you ever figure out what the...

What's all involved in this swap? Been kinda curious how hard this would be to throw in my 91.

    Has anyone have this happen?

I believe I just used a cheapie at the time . unfortunately that's been a couple years, and i don't recall . And I didn't really have it long enough afterwards to find out , a deer made sure of that. I'm planning on installing an ac Delco pump in my 91 when I can get a couple guys together to...

    Has anyone have this happen?

You could get one of these and buy a cheap gauge from harbor freight or online. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ANM-01800001465 Buddy of mine has one and it's one of the fastest way to troubleshoot the fuel system. I still think it's your fuel pump though. I had a suburban that had the...

    Has anyone have this happen?

Should be free, if you return it within the 90 days or whatever it is. But yeah that's what I would be checking for, especially with all the symptoms the fuel filter showed . There's a bunch of YouTube videos of people hooking up the testers by the filter. There is also away to get one hooked up...

    Has anyone have this happen?

I doubt that the issue has anything to do with your EVAP set up . Have you checked your fuel pressure? Pretty simple way is to hook one up right after the fuel filter, though you do have to climb under and check it . But it's the cheapest and quickest way of checking. The only reason I mention...

    4l60 shift points.

Hey everybody . I have a 1991 c1500 with a 4l60 (I believe 91 was the year they changed the name from 700r4?) Anyway I'm planning on doing an engine swap in the future, depending on the wallet I suppose, but I was curious about the shift points on the transmission. I recently had it rebuilt...
