Rear view mirror kit, interior pieces - Canadian seller

Just parted out a 2000 GMC 2500 (GMT800). Factory dual line mirror, factory roof harness, factory temp sensor and pigtails. Factory harness goes right down to the factory connectors and has all the plugs for the roof console still attached. I will cut to approximately 12" pigtail if requested. I...

350 Vortec to 6.0L LS swap

Nope this is steel heads. 1999. I believe it's the first generation/year for this motor? From what I can tell the steel heads will handle power adders better than the aluminum and it was cheap, so I can't complain.

350 Vortec to 6.0L LS swap

Motor is coming out of a 1999* (I know I said 2000 earlier) Chevrolet 2500. 6.0L, 4L80E, Autotrac transfer case (unfortunately). It's going into my 1997 K1500 5.7L, 4L60E, push button 4WD. My truck is a F44 with the heavy rear suspension and 2500 torsion bars up front.

350 Vortec to 6.0L LS swap

Seems like a bit of a waste considering I have the factory ECM, trans, wiring, etc. Wouldn't it be simpler to just use what's already there and stick with it?

350 Vortec to 6.0L LS swap

Hey guys, So I bought an entire truck - a 2000 Chevrolet 2500HD with the 6.0L and the 4L80E. Wondering if there's any information here for wiring diagrams/to help me with the swap? Wiring is my major concern - but I plan to run the ECM, trans, transfer case, rad, e fans, and motor from the 6.0L...

HD front and rear swap, full driveline as well

I'm in PEI, Canada. Freight would probably be in the $500+ range to go anywhere to the states. Rear axle seems simple enough. In the fronts, could I just run the whole steering assembly, control arms, etc from the 2500 and put the mounts on my 1500 frame, or would I be better off trying to...

HD front and rear swap, full driveline as well

My truck is currently 3.73 front and rear, G80 rear. Donor truck is 4.10s I believe, but it doesn't really matter as I will be going 4.56s when I put 35s on it. Also, I am swapping both front and rear axles, so the ratio will remain the same. Just trying to figure out the best way to swap the front.

HD front and rear swap, full driveline as well

Hey guys, Haven't really been posting a whole lot, just kind of lurking while the new girlfriend and I figure everything out and get settled in together. Been dating 9 months now, moved in together 3 months ago. Also working vigorously at rebuilding my shite credit. Anyways, that brings me to...

Let's Talk Towing (With a 25+ Year Old Truck)

Suspension and brakes are the two biggest issues when it comes to hauling, IMO. You need to be able to stop the trailer and you need to be able to control the trailer. I'd be checking your springs for fatigue/cracks, your hangers, your spring bushings and your shocks, all in the rear to start...

Research is showing me lowering a 4x4 just causes problems. Is this what you guys find to be true?

Main issue I'd imagine is going to be angles.. Keeping your CV angles and drive shaft angles in acceptable ranges is what I would be worried about.

The impossible, 33" tires on levelled truck

Minor bumper trimming and cranked t-bars will fit 33x12.50s. One of the guys at Custom Offsets on youtube has a GMT400 running the same set up. His wheels may be -44s, but the principle is the same. I believe he mentions in the video what he did to clear the 22x12s.

    K2500 TORSION BARS

The bars on K2500 and K3500s are physically bigger and will not fit the control arm on a K1500, IIRC? But I think the K1500s with the heavy duty suspension have the larger torsion bars out of a K2500.
