I used a Tahoe diff because i was already 6 lug swapped but wanted disc brakes and it has 13" rotors with dual piston calipers. I part out tons of 99-06...

    Thanks for that! I've realized that I'm gonna need to tub the front as well. Im rubbing on hard bumps already and i plan on doing coil overs on the front so its a must.

    I think it all depends on how low you want the truck to sit ive seen stepside trucks in my area lay pretty low without cutting up the bed. I recommend checking out All Star Customs on Instagram for your 4 link, i just did a 3 link on mine and couldnt be happier with the quality parts I recieved...

    The cap is from a 2007 new body style Silverado it fits nicely i just have 3m double sided tape on the inside I didn't drill any holes in the front. I'l get you some pics tomorrow when im back at the truck.

    4/7 Drop on 20's......need help

    Spode the newer style HD hood on the gmt400 is custom. You've gotta cut the 07+ hood and weld and bondo it on the factory hood. Out here in AZ they usually sell around $700 done

    Thanks J Cas, right now in the front its just dropped springs and bilstein shocks but QA1 offers a bolt in coilover replacement ill be going with in the near future. I need another inch lower in the front to be satisfied lol but I would definitey go with the 3 link kit from All Star Customs it...

    Thanks, yes it clears nicely and sounds really aggressive. Ill have to put some more miles on em before i can say I love it. I did see your set up as well looks nice and tucked over that tailshaft definitely something to remember for future reference on dropped trucks

    Loaded up the trailer today and took the truck to the muffler shop, i got 2.5 piping with X pipe and dual Carven R series mufflers with some dumps. Ill find out how it hums tomorrow.

    Thank you Kenny ive still got some more plans for this build just gotta save some money for the upcoming holidays then I can get back at it. That's a beautiful Impala is prefer it bone stock no hydraulics but I am a fan of switches on a G-body lol

    Got the step notches all welded up today little brother knocked em out for me. Not a whole lot left got a few welds to finish on the diff, set up the coilovers, some paint, and figure out if im doing tubs or raising the floor on the bed!

    Made a little progress on the BLUE CHEESE, I got a 2001 tahoe rear end posi 3.73s with disc brakes shortened 10 inches overall. I got the lower link bars installed and the upper Wish bone is tached in place. Step notches and coilover brackets left followed by finishing the rest of the welds
